Summary
● The TimberHogs traveled to Texarkana to face the Rhinos for the first time this season.
● The Rhinos took an early lead, scoring one in the second inning.
● Juan Murillo homered for the second night in a row, giving the TimberHogs a 2-1 lead.
● The Rhinos had a big third inning, plating seven runs. They extended their lead to 9-2 in the
fourth.
● Gage Goddard tripled to center field to start off the fifth inning for the ‘Hogs. Lukas Hinze hit an
RBI single to center field, scoring Goddard.
● Back to back doubles from Charles Chatman and Cermodrick Bland plated two runs for the
‘Hogs. Juan Murillo then singled to left field and was brought in by Goddard.
● The Rhinos scored one in the bottom of the sixth, but Cade Cunningham mowed down the
next three Rhino batters.
● Chatman started the eighth for the ‘Hogs with a single to center field. Bland hit a shot to the
left-center gap to advance Chatman to third base. AJ Smith doubled to left field, bringing in
both base runners. Murillo blasted his second home run of the night over the centerfield fence,
tying up the game. Goddard followed with a double to left field, and Hinze walked to give the
TimberHogs baserunners. Pinch hitter, Seishou Uchikoshi, doubled down the left field line,
driving in both baserunners.
● The Rhinos scored one in the eighth to make the score 12-11 ‘Hogs.
● The ‘Hogs will return to White Oak to face the Rhinos again tomorrow night.
