Summary
● The TimberHogs faced the Outlaws in the final game of their homestand tonight.
● The ‘Hogs put up three runs in the first with a homerun from Karsten Fidler.
● The Outlaws responded in the second, scoring three and tying up the game. They added six
more runs in the third inning.
● Easton Ballard came in to pitch for the ‘Hogs, totalling eight strikeouts.
● The ‘Hogs plated six of their own in the bottom of the third. AJ Smith singled to left field, and
Juan Murillo was intentionally walked. Tyler Martin reached on an error, scoring Smith. Fidler
hit his second homer of the night, scoring three yet again. Charles Chatman walked and was
brought in when Cermodrick Bland reached first on an error.
● The TimberHogs started the sixth with a triple from Martin. Fidler reached on an error by the
third baseman, scoring one. Nathan Owens singled to left field, driving in Kahne Nolen.
● The ‘Hogs had a huge seventh inning, scoring six. Chatman singled to left field, and Lukas
Hinze reached on an error. Bland singled, loading up the bases. Smith was hit by a pitch which
walked in one. Murillo then hit a grand slam to extend the ‘Hogs’ lead. Owens hit a sacrifice fly,
driving in Luke Land.
● The Outlaws scored four in the eighth inning, chipping away at the TimberHogs’ lead. They
added one more in the top of the ninth, making the final score 17-14 ‘Hogs.
● The TimberHogs are back in action tomorrow night in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
