Summary
● The TimberHogs faced the Rhinos in the second game of their series tonight.
● Zakary Jordan got the start for the ‘Hogs and totaled six strikeouts in five innings.
● The Rhinos took an early lead, scoring one in the top of the first. They extended their lead in
the third inning, giving them a 4-0 lead.
● The TimberHogs responded in the bottom of the third with back to back homeruns from
Cermodrick Bland and AJ Smith. Juan Murillo hit a shot in the left-center gap and was driven in
by a single from Corbin Montayne.
● The Rhinos plated three more runs in the fifth, making the score 7-5 Rhinos. They extended
their lead with seven more runs in the sixth.
● The ‘Hogs chipped away at the Rhinos’ lead in the seventh, scoring six runs. Gage Goddard
doubled to center field, driving in two runs. Two walks loaded up the bases for the ‘Hogs.
Kahne Nolen then hit a grand slam over the center field wall.
● Both teams went scoreless in the eighth, and the Rhinos added another run in the ninth.
● The TimberHogs will play the Rhinos again tomorrow night at home.
