Summary
● The TimberHogs faced the Sherman Shadowcats in the second game of their series tonight.
● Cade Medlin was the ‘Hogs’ starting pitcher. He only allowed one hit in his six innings of work.
● The Shadowcats put up two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.
● The TimberHogs responded in the seventh, scoring two of their own. Kahne Nolen singled to
left field and stole second base. Alton Gatson walked, and Charles Chatman singled to fill up
the bases. Juan Murillo singled to center field, driving in Nolen. Cermodrick Bland then
reached on a fielder’s choice, scoring Gatson.
● Jordan Hodges relieved Medlin in the bottom of the seventh.
● Gage Goddard started off the eighth for the ‘Hogs with a single to left field. Gabe Flores then
sent one over the left field fence, scoring two.
● The Shadowcats plated two runs in the bottom of the inning, tying the game.
● The ‘Hogs stranded one in the top of the ninth, and the Shadowcats scored the go-ahead run
with a double to right field.
● The TimberHogs will return to the Piney Woods for a three-day homestretch against the Fort
Smith Marshals.
