Summary
● The TimberHogs returned to the Piney Woods tonight to face the Texarkana Rhinos.
● The Rhinos took an early lead, scoring three runs in the first inning.
● Cermodrick Bland started off the offense for the ‘Hogs with a single to center field. Juan Murillo
hit a shot in the left field gap, driving in Bland.
● The TimberHogs loaded up the bases in the bottom of the second, AJ Smith then singled to
third base, scoring Alton Gatson.
● The Rhinos extended their lead in the third inning, plating four more runs.
● The Rhinos put up a couple of runs in the seventh and eighth.
● The ‘Hogs put three on base in the bottom of the eighth. Nathan Owens singled, bringing one
in.
● The TimberHogs will be back in action on Wednesday night in Sherman.
