Summary
● The TimberHogs faced the Fort Smith Marshals in the fourth game of their series tonight.
● The Marshals got on the board early, scoring one in the first.
● Gage Goddard homered to left field to start off the ‘Hogs offense. AJ Smith doubled to
left-center, scoring Charles Chatman. Juan Murillo then singled to right field and drove in
Smith.
● The Marshals responded in the bottom of the third, plating six runs.
● The TimberHogs scored two in the top of the sixth. Goddard singled to center field, scoring
Kahne Nolen. Chatman brought in Goddard with a single through the right side.
● The ‘Hogs scored again in the seventh when Alton Gatson singled and scored Smith.
● The TimberHogs tied up the game in the top of the ninth with a solo homerun from Murillo.
Gatson singled to shortstop. Karsten Fidler then drove in Gatson with a single to right center.
● Tyler Puckett took the mound in the ninth for the ‘Hogs and held the Marshals scoreless.
● The TimberHogs will face off against the Marshals again tomorrow for the final game of their
series.
