Summary
● The TimberHogs faced the Rhinos in the fifth game of their series tonight.
● Wilton Castillo Franco got the start for the ‘Hogs. He had 13 strikeouts and only allowed four
hits.
● The TimberHogs scored four runs in the bottom of the second inning. Lukas Hinze stole home
to put the ‘Hogs on the board. Charles Chatman singled to right field, bringing in Corbin
Montayne. Cermodrick Bland hit a sacrifice fly to score Alton Gatson. Kahne Nolen then
scored on a passed ball.
● The ‘Hogs added two more runs in the third. Gatson singled to centerfield, bringing in Gage
Goddard. The TimberHogs loaded up the bases, and Chatman was hit by a pitch, bringing in
Montayne.
● The TimberHogs had a huge fourth inning, plating six runs. AJ Smith scored on a wild pitch.
Lukas Hinze hit an RBI double off of the centerfield wall, and Goddard scored on a wild pitch.
Montayne homered, scoring two more for the ‘Hogs. Chatman hit a sacrifice fly, driving in
Nolen.
● The Rhinos scored their first run in the fifth, making the score 12-1.
● Juan Murillo hit a solo homerun to kick off the bottom of the fifth inning. The Rhinos’ pitcher
then walked in another run for the ‘Hogs.
● Murillo homered yet again in the sixth inning, scoring two more for the ‘Hogs.
● Jose Roig closed the game for the TimberHogs, only allowing two runs.
● The ‘Hogs will face the Joplin Outlaws tomorrow at home.
