Summary
● The TimberHogs returned home tonight to face the Sherman Shadowcats.
● Wilton Castillo Franco took the mound for the ‘Hogs and struck out two in the first inning.
● The TimberHogs got on the board when Gage Goddard singled to left field, scoring Juan
Murillo and AJ Smith.
● The ‘Hogs extended their lead when Cermodrick Bland reached on a fielder’s choice and
scored Kahne Nolen.
● Karsten Fidler brought in Corbin Montayne to give the ‘Hogs a 4-0 lead.
● Murillo hit a no-doubter over the left field fence, scoring three more for the TimberHogs.
● The ‘Hogs defense continued to shut down the Shadowcats. The ‘Hogs plated two more with
RBIs from Charles Chatman and Murillo.
● The Shadowcats got their first run in the bottom of the eighth, bringing the score to 9-1.
● Franco threw a gem tonight, striking out thirteen and only giving up one hit in seven innings of
work.
